Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively, efficiently obtain a golf ball having a cover of uniform thickness without eccentric deviation even in the case of a thin cover.
SOLUTION: In the mold 1 for molding a golf ball comprising a hollow spherical cavity 4 including a core ball 5 disposed therein, and a plurality of molding material injection gates 9 opened at the cavity 4, the gates 9 are partly disposed areas of both sides separate from an equator face of the cavity 4, and the respective gates 4 are disposed at positions where a sum of vectors of injecting material becomes substantially zero when the material is injected from all the gates toward a center of the cavity 4 by the same outputs.
