Title:
MOLD VIBRATION DEVICE OF CONTINUOUS CASTING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000135548
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To minimize a load by absorbing a repeat offset load being applied to an output rod.

This is referred to a mold vibration device for a curving type continuous casting equipment wherein a billet M is continuously pulled out along a curving direction by vibrating a mold wall 5 in a billet pull out direction. A vibration table 4, which holds the mold wall 5 via plural guiding plate springs 3A, 3B, is arranged with a mold stand 2 in a way suspending towards a curving center of the billet pull out path L at top, bottom positions, and a transverse face of which are parallel to the horizontal direction. A vibration cylinder 6 output rod 6a and the vibration table 5 are connected by a lever shape link mechanism 7 having plural link arms 13, 16, in a manner to be connected freely rotatable around the shaft cores, which are orthogonal to the guiding plate springs 3A, 3B. At the output 6a of the vibration cylinder 6, an elastically support air spring 21 is intervened so that the plate springs 3A, 3B are made to be a flexure free status.
