Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanization mold not equipped with the seal member of a mold mating face and a production method using the mold.
SOLUTION: A mold 1 for vulcanizing a tire comprises divided molds 4a, 4b which can form a tire molding space 3 for vulcanization-molding a tire raw cover T by closing a mating face 2. A tread exhaust passage 14 one end of which passes through the mating face 2 of the mold 1 and communicates with the tread molding part 5 of the space 3 and the other end of which is connected to a pressure source P and a side wall exhaust passage 15 one end of which is opened as a pore in the side wall molding part 6 of the space 3 of the mold 1 and the other end of which is connected to the pressure source P are provided, and the mating face 2 is formed from a smooth surface 16 not equipped with a seal member.
