Abstract:

To solve the problem, in a case where the molding cycle of a mold-injection-molding mold is accelerated in an attempt to improve the production efficiency, of the likelihood of the arising of gate cutting defects owing to the execution of a gate cutting step in a state where a resin reservoir stocked for a runner lock configured on a runner plate has yet to be solidified.

A runner lock pin structure equipped with a cooling function is provided, from the standpoint of assuredly realizing gate cutting actions in response even to accelerated molding cycles, so as to confer cooling effects onto a resin reservoir stocked on a runner plate and to accelerate the solidification of the molten resin, and the cutting of a pin gate is enabled by thus controlling the cooling temperature of the runner lock pin.
