Title:
MOLDED BODY MADE OF PAPER PULP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10179942
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To easily incinerate a molded body such as tumbler by a method wherein a main body formed from combustible material such as paper pulp and a bottom bonded to the lower part of the main body are provided, and the bottom is formed from combustible material and fine particles of magnetic material such as iron powder are mixed into the bottom.

For making a tumbler, a tumbler body 10 is formed into a hollow shape using paper pulp and a bottom 11 is bonded to the lower part of the body 10. That is, an opening 12 is formed at the lower end of the body 10 and the bottom 11 is bonded to the body 10 so as to close the opening 12. And the bottom 11 is formed from a part comprising solidified combustible material 13 having an inverted truncated cone-shape and a part formed from fine particles 14 of magnetic material such as iron powder provided beneath the underside of the bottom 11 and when the combustible material 13 is in melted state, the combustible material is impregnated into the particles 14 and solidified. As the combustible material, for example, coal tar a thermally meltable and combustible synthetic resin is used.
