Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of mounting a metal magnetic body on a stationary contact with good workability.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker includes: a movable contact 1 equipped with a movable contact point 2; a stationary contact 4 equipped with a stationary contact point 3; an arc extinguishing device 8 in which a plurality of arc extinguishing plates 9 are installed; and a metal magnetic body 11 which attracts arc generated at the time of separation between the movable contact point 2 and the stationary contact point 3. In the circuit breaker, the metal magnetic body 11 is held by a holding member 12 and placed between the arc extinguishing device 8 and the stationary contact 2. A position of the holding member 12 is regulated by, for example, the arc extinguishing device 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
