To provide a method of manufacturing molded articles suited to industrialization and dissolving a desired amount of dissolving material into the molten resin without being limited by the solubility of high pressure carbon dioxide to molten resin.
The method of manufacturing the molded articles by molding the molten resin includes: feeding high pressure carbon dioxide and the dissolved material dissolved therein to the molten resin; kneading the molten resin fed with the high pressure carbon dioxide and dissolved material; and exhausting the high pressure carbon dioxide from the kneaded molten resin, thus raising the concentration of the dissolved material in the kneaded molten resin while controlling the concentration of the high pressure carbon dioxide in the molten resin. In kneading, the molten resin is held in a cylinder having a screw and the screw is rotated normally and reversely.
