Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of any adverse influence on photographic performance and that of any rust even in the case of making a product with a low- cost resin by incorporating a specified amount or more of a thermoplastic resin made by a highly active catalyst in specified conditions.
SOLUTION: The molded product to be used for the photographic sensitive material contains the ≥50 weight% thermoplastic resin manufactured by using the catalyst high in activity capable of producing the thermoplastic resin in an amount of ≥10,000 g per 1 g of the solid catalyst. If the resin is not produced in an amount of ≥10,000 g, it is necessary to use more of the catalyst adversely affecting the photographic performance, resulting in increasing the residue of the catalyst and the residue of a halogen content and deteriorating the photographic performance and causing rust on a molding machine and a pelletizer and corroding them, as a result, reducing its practicability.
