To provide a molded seasoning which contains a fat as a main ingredient, has a good flavor, hardly melts, even when a cup is placed under a high temperature environment on its commercial distribution, but quickly melts, when hot water is poured to raise the temperature of an eating food in an eatable state.
This molded seasoning containing the fat as a main ingredient is obtained by stirring 100 pts.wt. of dextrin in a mixer, quickly adding 100 pts.wt. of milk fat, 450 pts.wt. of hydrogenated soybean oil, 0.7 pt.wt. of a butter flavor, and 0.007 pt.wt. of a coloring matter which are heated, mixed and melted in a 80°C heating pot, to the mixer, slowly and uniformly stirring the materials in the mixer, holding the mixture at a liquid temperature of ≥60°C, pouring the heated mixture into a plastic mold tray, cooling and solidifying the molded product, and then demolding the solidified molded product from the mold tray.
