PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of a flowing outlet and make the output constant, by cutting a solid material in a pasty plastic material with sinew cutting rods forming wavy surfaces provided in a molding apparatus of rod-like materials from the pasty plastic material.

CONSTITUTION: A pasty plastic material, e.g. a daily dish or fish paste product, is introduced from a pressure sending pump 1 into a tank 5 and then uniformly fed in the long direction of a continuous trough 7 by equal pressure extruding rollers 6. The material fed under equal pressure in the long direction of the trough 7 is further made to flow down, and sinew cutting rods 8 having wavy surfaces are rotated in contact with the circumferential wall surface 21 of an extruding part 19 to catch solid material with the tip cuts (8c) of recesses (8a). The material is discharged from plural molding holes (10a) through constituted parts 10 of the extruding part 19 while cutting the solid material to mold the pasty plastic material into a rod-like shape.
