PURPOSE: To increase the strength and facilitate fitting by forming a side and an upper molding in a single piece to provide one continued molding, and therewith blocking the gap between the periphery of a wind shield and a window frame in the body.

CONSTITUTION: A molding M1 consists of side molding M1a and an upper molding M1b, which are embodied in a single continuous piece and mounted to the side peripheries and the upper periphery, respectively, of a wind shield G. To mount this molding M1 to the gap 9 generated between the window frame in the body and the periphery of the wind shield G, it is first secured to the body panel 5 of the window frame with sealant 11 interposed, and then the molding M1 is pushed into the gap 9. Now the teeth 8a of a clip 8 are detained with teeth 7a of a clip 7 fixed to the slope 5a of panel 5, and the bottom surface of decoration part 2 of molding M1a is put in resilient contact with the surface of wind shield G, while a groove clip 1 of molding M1b is put in resilient contact with the wind shield G.
