This method for molding a concrete product consists of a step for lowering a shoe 88 into a form assembly 86 together with an upper beam 26 and thereby compressing a concrete material 156, a step for lowering the upper beam 26 and a lower beam 28 to specified positions simultaneously and drawing the concrete material 156 from the form assembly 86, and a step for raising the upper beam 26 and lowering the lower beam 28 both at the same velocity so that the shoe 88 maintains its position vertically with the form assembly 86.
