PURPOSE: To mold a brick by a simple operation by a method in which the molding pattern suitable for the shape of the brick and the kind of kneaded clay is preliminarily inputted, and a multiaxes-robot is operated.
CONSTITUTION: The contents of molding pattern are the moving speed, the operating path, the inclination and the position of an air-rammer, and the device which measures the bulk specific gravity, the moisture and the grain size of kneaded clay, is provided, and then the information of the room temperature and the humidity in brick-molding with said measured data are taken into the control device of a robot and are treated there, whereby the moving speed and the thrusting force of the air-rammer are automatically corrected. Further, the value of the general physical property of a finished brick and the information from the load sensor fitted to the air-rammer are taken into controlling part, and the molding pattern which has been set initially is corrected, thereby changing the pattern of next time automatically. After these operations have been repeated several times, the kneaded clay is fed automatically from the kneaded clay-feeding device linked to the control device of the robot.
