Abstract:

To provide a molding device capable of improving quality of a molded article.SOLUTION: A control section 70 controls a blow mechanism 60 so as to perform expansion molding of a metal pipe material 14 by supplying gas to the inside of the metal pipe material 14 held between an upper mold 12 and a lower mold 11 by a pipe holding mechanism 30. The control section 70 controls a drive section 81 so as to mold a flange section by collapsing a second molding section of the expanded metal pipe material 14 in sub-cavity sections of the upper mold 12 and the lower mold 11. In a molding device 10, the control section 70 changes a moving speed of a slide 82 during molding of the flange section by controlling a servo motor 83. Therefore, operation of a press can be controlled at a proper moving speed matching a shape or the like of the flange section.
