Title:
MOLDING DIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5653032
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent burrs from being generated at the end parts of a molded article and completely discharge the air remaining in the molded article by a method wherein a close contact part is provided at the molding surface at the time of mold matching, and the space between a fiber mat nipping part and the close contact part is communicated with the ambient air.

CONSTITUTION: When a synthetic resin is poured through a pouring hole 10 into the matched die consisting of male and female dies 1, 2, the resin layer penetrates rightwards and leftwards in such a manner as to sandwich the glass fiber mat (a). The air between the molding surfaces 3 is forced into the space 6 through the mat (a) nipped between the mat nipping part 4 and the molding surface 3 faced thereto, and the air is discharged to the exterior through a through-hole 9 which has its one port opening into the space 6. Even when the synthetic resin pours out from the mat nipping potion 4 with the increase in pressure, the outflow of the resin is obstructed by the close contact part 5. Then the pouring of the resin is stopped, and after a predetermined lapse of time, the matched die is opened to obtain the molded article A.
