Abstract:

To provide a molding apparatus for FRP prepared by equally infiltrating a resin throughout a reinforcing fiber material and capable of being formed into a stable shape at the time of molding of FRP by vacuum forming.

In a vacuum injection molding apparatus wherein sheetlike reinforcing fiber materials (5 and 15) are arranged in molds (1 and 10), bag films (4 and 14) for covering the reinforcing materials (5 and 15) and vacuum sources (8 and 18) for evacuating the bag films (4 and 14) are provided and injection ports (1a and 10a) of a matrix resin are connected to the reinforcing materials (5 and 15), perforated films (2 and 12) having a large number of small holes are arranged between the bag films (4 and 14) and the fiber materials (5 and 15), and degassing sheets (3 and 13) having degassing circuits having the resin injection ports (1a and 10a) are arranged between the perforated films (2 and 12) and the bag films (4 and 14).
