Abstract:
To allow a bent metal pipe material to be heated evenly.SOLUTION: A molding apparatus 10 comprises: a first electrode 17 having first contact surfaces 17a and 17b; a second electrode 18, arranged away in a first direction D1 with respect to the first electrode 17, which has second contact surfaces 18a and 18b; and a heating mechanism 50 that supplies electric power to the electrodes. The first electrode 17 is formed so that the first contact surfaces 17a and 17b are parallel to an outer peripheral surface of one end part 14a of a metal pipe material 14 extending in a direction crossing the first direction D1. The second electrode 18 is formed so that the second contact surfaces 18a and 18b are parallel to an outer peripheral surface of the other end part 14b of the metal pipe material 14 extending in the direction crossing the first direction D1. The first electrode 17 is formed so that edge parts 17e of the first contact surfaces 17a and 17b are positioned in a first plane P1 orthogonal to the first direction D1, and the second electrode 18 is formed so that edge parts 18e of the second contact surfaces 18a and 18b are positioned in a second plane P2 orthogonal to the first direction D1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
