To solve the following problem: micro-fibril cellulose is bonded firmly by its hydrogen bond to increase its density and to make its molding difficult when dried due to the lack of thermoplasticity, the cellulose has to be cut to be worked into a cylinder, and energy is required for the micro-fibrillation of the cellulose to separate the recombined micro-fibrils from each other in order to reuse the cellulose.
A mixture 4 of the micro-fibril cellulose and water is extruded cylindrically by an extruder. An annular discharge opening is formed in a die 2. The mixture 4 discharged from the die 2 is led to a tip part 3 having an outside diameter equal to the outside diameter of a core tube to be applied on the core tube 5. The peripheral surface of the mixture 4 on the core tube 5 is faired by a fairing machine 6, and the mixture 4 is dried while the core tube 5 is covered with the mixture.
