PURPOSE: To obtain a molded product having high accuracy as well as to shorten firing time by mixing a molding material with an igniting agent and a combustion assistant so that firing by uniform heating is enabled by self- heating in the material.

CONSTITUTION: A molding material such as ceramics, metal powder or glass is mixed with an igniting agent which ignites at a temp. below the firing temp. of the molding material, e.g., Mg or H and a combustion assistant which is decomposed by heating and generates gas assisting the combustion of the igniting agent to obtain a molding material for firing.
