Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method capable of achieving deformation having anisotropy by peen forming without the need of the specific number of man hour.SOLUTION: A molding method for bending a material 1 to be molded by repeatedly striking the processing surface of the material 1 to be molded as a material to be molded on a striking surface 12 of a needle-shaped peen indenter 10 includes: using the peen indenter 10 in which the striking surface 12 has a long axis LA and a short axis SA; and striking the material 1 to be molded with the peen indenter 10 while retaining a posture in which a specific direction in which a curvature radius of the material 1 to be molded is reduced, and the long axis LA are orthogonal to each other. Furthermore, a prescribed region of the material 1 to be molded can be molded by moving the peen indenter 10 in the plane direction of the material 1 to be molded while retaining the peen indenter 10 in a posture in which the specific direction and the long axis LA are orthogonal to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
