PURPOSE: To obtain a top roll for paper manufacturing in which a strength is high, deformation in paper making process is little and excellent in paper separating property by a method wherein a composition having a liquid resin forming three- dimensional bonding as a principal component and added with a granular hydrophilic substance is molded into a roll-shape.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. (hereinafter; pts.) of a liquid resin (for example; epoxy, unsaturated polyester resin or the like) forming three-dimensional bonding is added with 5W300, preferably 50W300pts., of a granular hydrophilic substance (granite, silica sand or the like having a granular diameter of 20W200 mesh preferably). Subsequently, this composition is thrown into a cylindrical mold to effect a rotational molding and hardened it, thus, an objective resin roll may be obtained.
EFFECT: It is possible to harden it at a low temperature and it will never cause creep.
USE: Used as a substitute of a stone roll for paper manufacturing.
