PURPOSE: To obtain a molded article having favorable surface condition and capable of being subjected to high-temperature baking in a coating operation without inducing any abrasion of a mixing head, by a method wherein a fiber reinforced material is adhered to a mold coated with an adhesive, then the mold is clamped and a resin material is molded by pouring into the mold.
CONSTITUTION: A core mold 1 is coated with a mold release agent 3 and then an adhesive layer 4 is produced thereon by applying a urethane resin based adhesive having a high viscosity. The core mold 1 is set on a container containing a filler such as Vinylon fibers, glass fibers or the like, and the filler is adhered onto the adhesive layer of the core mold 1 under static electricity to produce a fiber reinforced material layer 7. After subjecting the layer 7 to die face cleaning, the core mold 1 is clamped with a cavity mold applied with a mold release agent, and an urethane base resin material is poured into the mold cavity and is cured to obtain a fiber-reinforced molded article.
EFFECT: Longer fibers can be used, and a molded article having a low coefficient of linear expansion and developing little cracking and distorsion at the time of metal insertion can be obtained.
