Abstract:
To obtain a molding method dispensing with a mold by the use of laser and capable of being reduced in cost.
A thermoplastic resin work 5 is fixed on a liquid tank 1 housing a heated and pressurized liquid 3 and a laser scanner 8 is used to scan the surface of the work from above by laser beam 7 oscillated by a laser oscillator 6 to heat and soften a processing point to deform the heated and softened area so as to protrude the same above the surface 3a of the liquid 3 by the pressure of the liquid 3. This process is repeated to mold the work into a predetermined shape.
