The molding clip 6 is fixed adjacently to a clearance between the peripheral edge of a window glass 1 and a car body window frame 25, a locking part 15 is formed in the molding clip so that it extends to the clearance, the molding 2 is provided with a projection engaging part 26 projecting so as to engage with the locking part, and a transverse bar 31 of the projection engaging part is pressed into the locking part 15 to be engaged with a locking claw 18, thereby mounting the molding 2 to the molding clip 6. The locking part 15 has flexibility for the other part of the molding clip, a bar-like member 35 is inserted between a window frame surface 25 of the car body and the edge 34 of the molding 2 to bow down the locking part, thereby releasing engagement of the locking part with the projection engaging part.
