To provide a molding polyester film excellent in moldability at the time of heating molding, excellent in elasticity and form stability (heat shrinkage characteristics and thickness irregularity) at the time of use as a molded object under a normal temperature atmosphere, excellent in paper feed stability, ink adhesion and damping water aptitude in a multicolor printing high speed UV offset press and susceptible to high speed/high grade printing.
The molding polyester film is obtained by using a polyester film as a base material and laminating an easily printable coating layer on one side of the base material while laminating an easy slip coating layer on the other surface thereof. The base material comprises a polyester film containing a copolyester synthesized from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component containing EG and a branched aliphatic glycol and/or an alicyclic glycol and is constituted so that the stress at the time of 100% elongation in the longitudinal and lateral directions thereof is 180-1,000 MPa at 25°C and 1-100 MPa at 100°C.
