Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive molding resin product capable of being easily manufactured and superior in heat resistance and appearance designability, and a manufacturing method for the molding resin product.

In this molding resin product, a laser beam L is applied to an overlapping portion 11 from the side of a transmission material 2, so that the transmission material 2 and an absorbing material 3 can be welded together. In the overlapping portion 11, the transmission material 2, which is mainly composed of thermoplastic polyester and which allows transmission of the laser beam, and the absorbing material 3 for absorbing the laser beam, which is mainly composed of polyphenylene sulfide, overlaps each other. In the transmission material 2, a polyamide 6 is mixed into thermoplastic polyester.
