Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting a swine retrovirus sequence transferred by heteroplastic transplantation.
A purified nucleic acid which can specifically hybridize with the sequence of swine or miniature swine retrovirus is obtained. The nucleic acid is except a perfect retrovirus genome, and is, for example, longer by at least one nucleotide or shorter by at least one nucleotide than the perfect retrovirus genome, or is different at at least one position sequence. With the sequence, the swine retrovirus sequence transferred by a heteroplastic transplantation can be detected.
