Abstract:

To provide a molecule recognition polymer capable of coupling specifically an end saccharification product: advanced gylcation end-product (called hereinafter as AGE), that is a compound generated in the latter stage of Maillard reaction of a non-enzymatic saccharification reaction between a reducing sugar such as glucose and a protein, a solid phase extraction method using the same, and a solid phase extraction kit.

This molecule recognition polymer is preparation-formed according to a molecular imprint method, by polymerizing a monomer for polymer synthesis under the presence of at least the one kind of AGE or at least one kind of AGE structure analog serving as a template molecule, and by removing favorably the template molecule from the obtained polymer.
