Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject molded article useful for clutch facing of automobiles, etc., having excellent frictional resistance, judder properties and brake noise properties without causing vibration, comprising glass fibers, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective molded material, for example, comprises (A) 50wt.% glass fibers ground into about 6mm, (B) 5wt.% inorganic filler such as barium sulfate, (C) 5wt.% metallic powder such as copper powder, (D) 39.7wt.% flexible melamine resin such as melamine resin modified with polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether and (E) 0.3wt.% phthalic acid.
