To provide a molten aluminum treatment apparatus capable of easily and reliably blocking the inside of a molten metal storage bath from the outside air.
The molten aluminum treatment apparatus comprises a sealed type molten metal storage bath 1, an cylindrical seal member 3 penetrating an upper wall of the molten metal storage bath 1, a raw gas blow-in shaft 2 inserted in the cylindrical seal member 3, a molten metal inlet conduit 4 penetrated in a peripheral wall of the molten metal storage bath 1 while having a molten metal inlet hole 45 in a recess in the bath, and a molten metal outlet conduit 5 penetrated in the peripheral wall of the molten metal storage bath 1 in a sealed manner while having a molten metal outlet hole 55 in a recess in the bath. A lower end of the cylindrical seal member 3, the molten metal inlet hole 45 and the molten metal outlet hole 55 are arranged below the molten metal level L1. A space above the level of the molten metal in the molten metal storage bath is sealed from each inside space of the cylindrical seal member 3, the molten metal inlet conduit 4 and the molten metal outlet conduit 5 by the molten aluminum L.
