Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten glass feeding apparatus used when filling an inside space of a flow path through which molten glass flows, with inert gas, capable of blowing in the inert gas while suppressing the outside air from being sucked in through a gap of a refractory.SOLUTION: A molten glass feeding apparatus for feeding molten glass G melted in a glass melting tank 7 over a molten metal bath, includes: a flow path 3 having an inside space S through which the molten glass G flows; and gas feeding pipes 13, 14 for feeding inert gas into the inside space S. A wall part 6a of the flow path 3 is penetrated to arrange the gas feeding pipes 13, 14 such that gas jetting ports 13a, 14a are positioned on the inside space S side of the flow path 3 and gas feeding ports 13b, 14b are positioned on the outer side of the flow path 3. Further, a flow rate of the gas present near the inner wall of the flow path 3 on the inside space S side, on which the gas jetting ports 13a, 14a are provided, is set smaller than that of the inert gas in the gas feeding ports 13b, 14b.
