PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal carrying technology, easy in operation management with a simple structure, and low in running cost.SOLUTION: In a molten metal carrying pump 3 for sucking in molten metal from a suction port IN and discharging from a discharge port OUT, the molten metal carrying pump 3 comprises a cylindrical body 8a for sucking up the molten metal of conductive metal, a spiral body 9 detachably stored in the cylindrical body 8a and a magnetic field device 12 provided on the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 8a, and is constituted so that the magnetic field device 12 comprises a permanent magnet body 12a1, and the permanent magnet body 12a is magnetized to one pole of an N pole and an S pole on the inner peripheral side, and is magnetized to the other pole on the outer peripheral side, and a magnetic field having a line of magnetic force in the lateral direction of turning to the center of the cylindrical body 8a from the outer periphery is formed, and a magnetic field having a line of magnetic force turning to the outer periphery in a radial shape from the center of the cylindrical body 8a, is formed, and when an electric current (i) flows in the vertical direction in the molten metal in the cylindrical body 8a, electromagnetic force is generated by Lorentz force by crossing with the electric current, and the molten metal is turnably driven toward the discharge port OUT from the suction port IN while turning in a spiral flow passage by this electromagnetic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
