PURPOSE: To complete the reception and pouring of molten metal in a short time, by enabling a molten-metal container which has an outlet with a larger diameter than that of a molten-metal pouring opening to slant when molten metal flowing out of the outlet is poured in a mold through a spout having the pouring opening.
CONSTITUTION: A molten-metal container 1 on a metering table 2, when at a lower-limit position, receives molten metal until the molten metal almost overflows from an outlet 1c. As the molten-metal container 1 is slanted, the molten metal 10 flows through a spout 5 and molten metal 12 remains in a pouring basin 50 as much as the difference between molten-metal flow 13 to a mold 9 and molten-metal flow 11. In this case, making the diameter of the outlet 1c greater than that of the pouring opening 5c results in that the molten discharge time from the molten-metal container 1 is shorter than the pouring time of the mold 9. Therefore, the reception of the melten metal is carried out simultaneously with the pouring of the molten metal and the time and the capacity of the container are saved.
