Abstract:

To provide a molten-metal-resistant protective safe garment causing no burning accidents on a wearer even when suffering from come-flying of droplets generated by molten pig iron having a temperature of 1,550°C.

The soft, lightweight and safely-wearable molten-metal-resistant protective safe garment has heat resistance, a heat sheltering property and a reflective property, and never making 1,500°C droplets penetrate. The garment has the following structure: a carbon fabric resistant to 1,500°C is placed as an intermediate layer, a reflection material functioning as a garment is placed on the surface of the fabric, a heat-sheltering felt-containing cushioning back face layer having a thickness of ≥2 mm is provided at the back face of the garment.
