Abstract:
To provide a molten metal-retaining furnace capable of controlling the atmosphere inside the furnace until just before tapping, and to provide a casting device.
The molten metal-retaining furnace 20 comprises a closed type furnace body 21, and a closing member 50 which closes the tapping hole 22 of the closed type furnace body 21 and penetrates by heat of the molten metal when tapping.
