Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the danger of causing a molten metal leakage by unitizing an electromagnetic pump refractory tube with a molten metal storage tank which has sufficiently small molten metal holding quantity as compared with a furnace body. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral edge of a molten metal inlet 3a of a molten metal storage tank 3 which contains an electromagnetic pump refractory tube 3c by unitizing it is bonded to the peripheral edge of the molten metal outlet 1a of a furnace body 1a capable of holding a large quantity of molten metal. Electric power in response to the molten metal level of the body 1 is applied to an inductor K, thereby obtaining thrust for moving the molten metal R existed in the tube 3c and moving it through an orifice frame 3d to the molten metal filling port 3e.
