PURPOSE: To perfectly seal molten metal by forming a tapered shape valve seat sleeve arranged at the tip lower part and the tip part of a weighing valve rod as semi-spherical shapes and arranging an annular groove on the abutting part of this tip part of the weighing valve rod on the valve seat sleeve.
CONSTITUTION: The tapered shape valve seat sleeve 27 arranged at the tip lower part and the weighing valve rod 26 freely openable/closable and rotated to this valve seat sleeve 27, are arranged. The tip part of the weighing valve rod is formed in semi-spherical shape, and the annular groove 26b is arranged on the abutting part of this tip part of the weighing valve rod on the valve seat sleeve 27. The molten metal is allowed to flow into gap of the annular groove part 26b arranged on the semi-spherical part 26a at the tip part of the weighing valve rod and cooled and solidified, and as the molten metal in the half-solidified state is interposed into the gap between the weighing valve rod and the valve seat part, both are not directly abutted but both are abutted through the molten metal in the half-solidified state. By this constitution, even in the case of biting the foreign matter of oxide, etc., the seating is perfectly executed and the leakage of molten metal can be prevented, because this half- solidified material plays the role of one kind of the seal materials.
