Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten metal vessel heating device capable of suppressing an increase in the weight of a cover tilting about a rotary shaft at a predetermined angle and opening and hermetically closing an upper opening of a molten metal vessel, suppressing spilling of a thermal storage member that possibly occurs during cover opening/closing operation and drift of a gas fluid passing through a regenerator, and sufficiently absorbing displacement accompanying the cover opening/closing operation by tilting the cover.SOLUTION: A regenerative burner device including a pair of gas supply/exhaust nozzles is provided on a cover. A pair of ducts are connected to the paired gas supply/exhaust nozzles. The ducts are a first duct arranged on the cover and a second duct including a regenerator. A first end of the first duct is connected to the gas supply/exhaust nozzles, and a second end thereof is provided to be coaxial with a rotary shaft. A first end of the second duct is coaxially opposed to the second end of the first duct, and a second end thereof is coupled to the regenerator. A seal section is interposed between opposed portions of the second end of the first duct and the first end of the second duct. The regenerator is mounted at a position irrelevant to opening/closing of the cover.
