The molten salt electrolytic device provided with an electrolytic cell for electrolyzing an electrolytic liquid composed of a molten salt mixture is equipped with a first heat exchanging means for heating/cooling a main unit of the electrolytic cell, an outer frame arranged by hermetically sealing the first heat exchanging means on the outer periphery further apart a space from the first heat exchanging means and a reduced pressure or vacuum thermally insulating layer formed within the outer frame. Further, the device is equipped with electric insulating materials and gas sealing materials at the points where the electrical insulating properties and the gas sealability are required.
