SOLUTION: This molten slag cooling device for a gasification melting system includes a chute through which the molten slag discharged from a slag discharge port formed on a bottom part of a melting furnace and generated under high temperature atmosphere, is passed, and a means for jetting the water flow oppositely to the discharging direction of the slag passed through the chute.
