Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant alloy for a plastic working tool satisfying physical properties such as proof stress and hardness corresponding to the increase in melting point of a working object.SOLUTION: Provided is a molybdenum heat resistant alloy having a first phase essentially containing Mo, a second phase essentially containing at least one of carbonitrides of Ti, Zr and Hf and a third phase provided between the first phase and the second phase and including a solid solution of Mo and at least one of carbonitrides of Ti, Zr and Hf. Not only the contents of the Mo in the first phase and the carbonitride in the second phase, but also the average particle diameter of the Mo in the first phase, the average particle diameter of the carbonitride in the second phase and the number of the particles with a particle diameter of 3.0 to 5.0 μm are set in prescribed values.SELECTED DRAWING: None
