Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molybdenum oxide nanotube being a porous one-dimensional nano-substance with a large surface area and its composite material, and their manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: This molybdenum oxide nanotube being a single crystal, having a void inside, and having a polygonal outline and its composite material, are manufactured by locating a piece of molybdenum foil at a constant distance to each other on a tantalum wafer and heating at 950°C-1,000°C under a reduced pressure.
