Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform meney changing by providing an inspecting means which compares the use time of the card having been read and the time having been set in a setting means and inspect the suitability of the card used this time.

CONSTITUTION: When the machine knows that a card has been inserted, the flag indicating that the card has been inserted is erected at the address M1 of a RAM 49 and the card is taken in by shifting to 18 of the flow chart. Then a card reader control 45 controls a card reader 46 to read in the data of the card. When all of 19 or 25 of the flow are YES, the flow shifts to its 13, where the number of the exchange currency having been stored in the address of the RAM 49 is counted and when the count coincides in the flow 14, whether the one having been inserted for the purpose of money change is the banknote or card is discriminated in the flow 16. In the flow 28, the data having been stored in the RAM 49 are printed on the card to discriminate the card. This card cannot be used for that day and becomes usable on the next day.
