Abstract:
To provide a currency processing device, a currency processing system, and a currency processing method, capable of, even if a customer puts a large amount of currency of a specific denomination for performing settlement of a commodity, reducing an effect on change correspondence to another customer who subsequently performs settlement.SOLUTION: A currency processing device 30, when receiving a sub-total from a cash register 20 (S1), admits a deposit of currency, and acquires a deposit configuration formed of a denomination and an amount (number) of the deposited currency, and a deposited amount (S2). Then, the currency processing device 30 calculates a change amount obtained by subtracting the sub-total from the deposited amount (S3). Then, the currency processing device 30 calculates a sub-total minimum configuration, which is a combination of a denomination and a number allowing the number of currency constituting the sub-total to be minimized (S4). Then, the currency processing device 30 calculates a change amount dispensing configuration obtained by subtracting the sub-total minimum configuration from the deposit configuration for each denomination (S5), and dispenses currency formed of the combination of the denomination and the number indicated by this change amount dispensing configuration as a change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
