Abstract:
To provide a currency processing device, a currency processing system, and a currency processing method used by the currency processing device that can prevent troubles due to miscalculation in a closing process.SOLUTION: A currency processing device 1 includes: a first storage unit for storing banknotes to be used as a reserve fund; a second storage unit for storing the banknotes to be collected; a banknote deposit/withdrawal mechanism 26; a processing unit 50; and a detection unit 29. The processing unit 50 executes a first process of transporting the banknotes stored in the first storage unit to the second storage unit by the banknote deposit/withdrawal mechanism 26, and a second process of creating closing information including at least the amount of banknotes stored in the second storage unit. The detection unit 29 detects an error during the first process. Depending on the error detection by the detection unit 29, the processing unit 50 stops the first process in the middle to execute the second process, and create the closing information based on the amount of the banknotes stored in the second storage unit at the time of the stop in the middle of the first process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
