To prevent an attendant carrying cash from a server side to a cash processing machine side from knowing a transaction money amount, in a money reception data management system composed of a plurality servers for managing money reception data, and the cash processing machine connected to servers via a network for counting various denominations of cash from the servers.

In this application, money reception data for a transaction are registered on the server side based on an ID number; when the cash is transported from the server to the cash processing machine, a sheet with a bar code corresponding to the ID number printed is added to it and the processing result of the cash received by the cash processing machine is transmitted to the server side via a network by adding the ID number read from the sheet; and, by the use of the transmission, the transmitted processing result of the cash is checked against the money reception data read based on the transmitted ID number on the server side.
