Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin storage capable of improving the reliability of recognition of coins fed therein and preventing failure of reception of coins.SOLUTION: A coin storage 2 includes: a housing 2a; a coin storage 6; a guide member 23; a second detection section 24; and a controller. The housing 2a has a coin payment port 22. The coin storage 6 is disposed in the housing 2a. The coin storage 2 includes; an intake port 61 for receiving a coin C fed through the coin payment port 22; a detection section 64 that detects the coin C fed from the intake port 61; a storage section storing the coin C; and a conveyance part that conveys the coin C received through the intake port to the storage section. The guide member 23 forms a path for guiding the coin C from the coin payment port 22 to the intake port 61. The second detection section 24 detects the coin C passing through the path. When at least either one of the detection section 64 and the second detection section 24 detects the coin C, the controller controls the coin storage 6 to start a reception operation of the coin C entered the intake port 61.
