Title:
MONITOR CAMERA APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06178172
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To confirm the state of an apparatus itself from a remote place by freely moving a monitor camera and the image of the monitor camera displayed in a mirror on either one side of the mirrors to a position where it can be photographed by the monitor camera.

CONSTITUTION: The monitor camera 1 is mounted on a revolving device 3 which holds the camera rotatably freely centering about a horizontal shaft 2, and a mirror group 6 mounted on the device 3 is mounted on a pedestal 9 which holds the mirror group in such a way that it can be turned freely centering about a vertical shaft 8. When usual monitoring is performed, the mirror group 6 is positioned at the outside of the visual field range of the camera 1, and the camera 1 can be prevented from being interfered by the mirror group 6. While, when it is desired to confirm the state of the camera, it is turned to a position where a primary mirror 6 out of the mirror group 6 can be photographed by a remote operation. Thereby, the image on the side plane of the apparatus itself can be confirmed by the camera 1, and the state of the apparatus itself can be confirmed from the remote place by displaying such image on a remote monitor via a transmission line.
