PURPOSE: To utilize a command character string corresponding to the operation of the system by using a command string prepared in a file as a substitute for a command character string which is inputted from a system console panel and determined for each operation instruction to a monitor, to greatly improve the operability on the system console panel by lightening the operation load of system console panel input on a user and preventing misinput, and to sends the operation indication to the monitor.

CONSTITUTION: This monitor command system 1 consists of a command conversion information storage file 3 which contains the command character string inputted from the system console panel 5 and the command character string substituting for it as command conversion information 31, a command conversion information generating means 11 which generates the command conversion information 31, and a command converting means 12 which substitutes the command input string inputted by the user from the system console panel 5 according to the command conversion information 31.
