To provide a voltage reactive power monitor and control apparatus which uses a high accuracy voltage stability index for eliminating a problem of its accuracy because static analysis is adopted in conducting calculation with a P-V curve (a curve for indicating a relationship with total demand P and voltage V of the power system), and a behavior corresponding to a change in the voltage of an automatic voltage and reactive power regulator is not considered in a conventional voltage and reactive power monitoring control device.
A means for simulating the operation of automatic voltage reactive power regulator is provided. The P-V curve incorporated with an operation response characteristic to the voltage change is obtained in the automatic voltage reactive power regulator in the system. An optimum power flowing state is calculated by obtaining the high accuracy voltage stability index.
